Pre-School and Kindergarten

Pre-Kindergarten Program

Maranatha provides a pre-kindergarten program that IS FULL DAYS ON Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday. Students are introduced to the classroom experience, begin to learn some letter and number recognition, have time for group play, and do activities for both small motor and large motor development (art class to gym time).

Optional materials are available for parents to supplement the program with at home. A Bible class with scripture memory is also incorporated into the time each day. Parents must provide transportation for their children. Students take turns bringing a snack to share during break.

Kindergarten Program

Maranatha uses the A Beka curriculum for kindergarten instruction. It centers on a strong phonics program that has the students reading by the end of the year. The ACSI bible curriculum is used for Bible classes. Students attend full days twice a week and every-other Friday. Children may ride the public school buses to come to school.
