The elementary school curriculum is designed with an emphasis on traditional teaching of subject areas. A strong phonics program, emphasizing oral reading and comprehension skills, prepares students for effective secondary learning. Bible is taught as a separate class, and we concentrate on character development. All academic disciplines are unashamedly presented from the biblical point of view.

Classes in art, music and phy. ed. are taught on a weekly basis. Students participate in the ACSI spelling bee, speech meet, math Olympics, creative writing competition, science fair, art fair, music festival and other competitions with Christian schools in the region.

Basketball programs are available for grades three through six for both boys and girls through various community organizations. Parents are encouraged to get their students involved in these and to help coach these teams.

We are privileged to have two weekly Good News Clubs offered at two levels for our elementary students.
