This secondary program at Maranatha offers basic college preparatory courses. Classes are taught from a biblical worldview perspective. Ninth grade
students study Christian Worldview and seniors take the Summit Ministry’s Understanding the Times comparative worldview class.
Besides basic English, history, science, math and Bible classes, keyboarding, choir, speech, Spanish I and Spanish II are offered. Through a J-Term
program offered in alternate years, a number of community volunteers join our staff to allow us to offer hands-on elective classes.
Students participate in inter-school competitions in music, science, speech and art.
Maranatha is presently a member of the ACSI and participates in their volleyball and varsity basketball programs at the secondary level. Track and
field is offered as coaching and interest level prompt.
Students are encouraged to assume leadership positions on student council as well as through involvement in numerous student led projects.
