At Maranatha Academy, we feel very privileged that many of our high school students have had the opportunity to travel to Summit Ministries. This is a two
week program where our young adults encounter first hand an introduction to the Christian Worldview class that we teach our seniors. By Maranatha Academy
students attending the seminars, they are being taught straight from the author of the curriculum, Dr. David Noebel, which has been a very intellectual experience
for many of our students. Below is a short description of the program and a link for parents and students who are interested in finding out more about the Summit.
About Summit Ministries
Summit is an educational Christian ministry whose very existence is a response to our current post-Christian culture. Today, countless Christian youth have
fallen victim to the popular ideas of our modern world. Most have adopted these ideas into their own worldview, while still others go on to renounce their
Christian faith altogether.
Summit views its role in God’s kingdom as a catalyst to counteract this alarming trend. However, our ultimate goal supercedes simply training. As Christians
are challenged to stand strong in their faith and defend truth, they will also be equipped to have a positive influence on the society in which they live.
