Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) |
|
At Maranatha Academy, the Parent-Teacher Fellowship gives our parents and teachers the opportunities to come together periodically to share ideas, concerns,
and information pertaining to the education of our children and the operation of our school. The opportunity is also provided to lift up specific needs to
the Lord together in prayer.
The PTF seeks the participation of the parents and teachers in school activities, meeting times and prayer times. In the PTF Handbook the meeting dates and
times are listed. Plan now to attend the meetings and share your ideas, questions, concerns and prayer support.
Fundraising
The second major way that PTF assists parents is through fundraising programs. PTF conducts these for two reasons, 1) to help families reduce their tuition
by earning money toward their own payments, 2) to keep the costs of tuition lower by raising money for the general fund. All Maranatha families are
encouraged to be generous in the spirit of Biblical giving and to work beyond personal goals toward helping others through our fundraising program.
The manner of fundraising toward tuition, and the programs that families can participate in to do so, is clarified on the Tuition Schedule page.
If families do not want to get involved in fundraising, they may simply pay their full tuition and a fundraising-non-participation fee of $1,000.
The Board has been very grateful to the families
who raise funds above expectations. It serves as a great blessing!
PTF Meetings provide an excellent opportunity for the parents and teachers to get to know one another and there is just no substitute for Christian prayer and
fellowship. Please help to ensure the continued success of Maranatha by participating in this vital aspect of our school’s ministry of education. Romans 12:10
and 11 say: “Be kindly affectioned one to another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord”. May we all uphold the Biblical values of
Maranatha Academy by our participation in Parent Teacher Fellowship this year.
